In 2025, Diaverum Portugal strengthened its commitment to Social Responsibility, delivering a wide range of initiatives focused on health promotion, disease prevention and the well-being of the communities in which it operates.
Throughout the year, 65 Social Responsibility actions were carried out in collaboration with 51 partner organisations, reaching 2,203 people. These figures reflect Diaverum’s active involvement in projects with real impact, grounded in proximity, health literacy and the creation of sustainable social value.
The initiatives focused mainly on key areas for health promotion and quality of life, including Nutrition and Well-being, Fall Prevention and Risk, Lifestyle-related Diseases, and Personal Hygiene. Through awareness sessions, practical actions and educational activities, Diaverum aimed to empower individuals to make more informed and healthier choices in their daily lives.
One of the key highlights of 2025 was the delivery of 35 screenings for diabetes and hypertension, two of the main conditions associated with the development of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). These initiatives aimed to promote early detection, raise awareness of the importance of prevention and encourage healthier lifestyles, contributing to a reduced risk of disease progression.
Diaverum Portugal would like to thank all professionals, partners and organisations involved, whose contributions were essential to the success of these initiatives. This joint effort reflects Diaverum’s mission to care for people both inside and outside the clinics, promoting an integrated approach to health and well-being.
With this positive balance, Diaverum reaffirms its commitment to continuing to develop Social Responsibility initiatives that respond to real community needs and contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future.
