The presence of Diaverum Portugal at the EDTNA Conference once again demonstrated our organisation’s strong commitment to excellence in care, research and the continuous development of Nursing in the field of renal care.
This year, Diaverum Portugal was represented by 10 professionals, who brought 15 papers to the conference, reflecting the knowledge, experience and, above all, the ability of our teams to transform everyday clinical practice into relevant and shareable scientific knowledge.

Participating in an international conference with the scale and recognition of EDTNA represents much more than presenting research. It is an opportunity to share best practices, discover new approaches, learn from professionals from different countries and healthcare settings, and actively contribute to the evolution of care for people living with kidney disease.
The strong presence of Diaverum Nursing at this event also reflects a culture that we want to continue strengthening: a culture of curiosity, research, innovation and continuous improvement, in which professionals are not only responsible for delivering excellent care, but also for generating and sharing knowledge.
This work and dedication were also publicly recognised through awards acknowledging the scientific quality of the projects presented. Among the research showcased, the Aveiro team received the 2nd Best Poster Award, while the Vila Verde team received the 3rd Best Poster Award.

These awards are a source of enormous pride. More than recognising the individual teams involved, they represent public recognition of the quality, rigour and excellence of the work carried out every day by our nurses, as well as the ability of Diaverum Portugal Nursing to establish itself and gain recognition within an international scientific community.
To the 10 professionals who represented Diaverum, the authors of the 15 papers and everyone who contributed to making this work possible, we extend our recognition and sincere thanks.
We will continue to encourage our teams to question, research, innovate and share, because we believe that knowledge reaches its full value when it translates into better practices, better outcomes and better care for our patients.
Congratulations to the Aveiro and Vila Verde teams on this well-deserved recognition, and congratulations to everyone who represented Diaverum Portugal at EDTNA, showcasing with excellence the Nursing profession we want to build for today and for the future.
