Diaverum Portugal took part in the 25th Nephrology Update Symposium, organised by the Nephrology Department of Hospital de Santa Cruz (CHLO), which took place on 6 and 7 March at Lagoas Park, in Oeiras.
We would like to highlight the participation of Dr Carlos Lucas, Vice President Diaverum Medical, in Panel 3 – “The Future of Nephrology in Portugal: Training, Innovation and Sustainability”, where he presented the topic “Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in Nephrology”, contributing to the discussion on the role of technology and innovation in the evolution of renal care.
According to Dr Carlos Lucas, “It was a privilege to speak about the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in Nephrology at the 25th Nephrology Update Symposium, highlighting how AI is already transforming renal care by strengthening our ability to predict, personalise and improve efficiency, and how the nephrology community has an irreplaceable role in the development and application of these technologies to ensure better care and better outcomes for our patients.”
