Diaverum Portugal, a global reference in the provision of renal care, announces the acquisition of the Nefropinhal clinic, located in Sertã.
This unit is led by Dr. Rui Alves Filipe as Clinical Director and André Ribeiro as Head Nurse, supported by a multidisciplinary team aligned with best practices in patient care.
With this integration, Diaverum now operates a total of 28 units nationwide, ensuring broader and closer coverage of communities, always focused on delivering humanised, safe, and high-quality renal care.
The Nefropinhal clinic, inaugurated in 2020, is recognised for its expertise and dedication to the treatment of chronic kidney disease. It offers 20 dialysis stations per shift and operates from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., providing specialised and personalised care to all its patients. This acquisition will allow the clinic to be integrated into Diaverum’s clinical and technological platform, ensuring continued patient-centred care with high standards of quality and clinical safety.
With this move, Diaverum strengthens its presence in a strategic region of the country, contributing to equity in access to renal treatment. The integration of Nefropinhal marks another step in Diaverum’s mission to transform renal care in Portugal, offering not only excellent medical treatments but also positive life experiences to the patients it serves.
